TIzmir tummy tuck surgery is not a complement to weight loss or exercise programs, but is a completely separate entity. Its purpose is to put the contour of the abdominal region in an optimal form for the body and to tighten the abdominal wall. For this reason, it would be appropriate for those who will enter a weight loss program or who are planning a pregnancy to postpone the abdominoplasty operation until later.
The term liposuction refers to a medical method in which excess fat deposits are pulled out of the body with the help of an aspirator and certain body zones are corrected and contoured. The liposuction method is not used in the treatment of obesity. Of course, this procedure can not replace the right diet and exercise. It is not effective in treating cellulite. It has no improving effect on sagging skin. Almost all body surfaces (abdomen, waist, back, legs, upper arm, lower jaw, pelvis, etc.) are processed by correcting the contours to achieve the ideal aesthetic appearance.
Nose surgery (rhinoplasty) is a stunning operation that directly affects the aesthetic appearance of the face. As a result, this is a surgical procedure, which generally results in high patient satisfaction. When the respiratory tract is also intervened in the nasal septum (medial roof), it is called a septorhinoplasty. The rhinoplasty can produce two different results. 1) The nasal deformities are corrected, thus creating the most appropriate, aesthetic proportion of the nose to the external appearance of the face. 2) Existing, obstructive bone and meat tissues are intervened by the nose to relax the respiratory tract. This achieves both aesthetic and functional treatment.
The operation uses two different techniques, one open and one closed. Nowadays, up to 95% of open technology is used. In the open technique, a 4 mm incision is made in the nose from the outside and the entire nose skin is raised in order to be able to see the tissue to be operated on. Especially with difficult nose cases you can achieve much better results with the open technique.
Should I get a nose correction?
The answer to this question depends largely on you. There are people who have a very large and shapeless nose and are very happy, as well as people who, with a small amount of tissue curvature, find it a problem to be operated on. One should respect both prospects. If an operation boosts your confidence and has a positive impact on your participation in social life, then your decision is the right one. If you do not have a problem with your nose yourself, but want to undergo surgery based on other people’s criticisms, I would recommend that you think twice about it. A nose shape that does not bother you can lead to even more frustration after a change. You should therefore make your decision with your doctor.
Is a nose correction very expensive?
The operating costs consist of; medical examinations to be performed before the operation, operating room fee, anesthesia, after-care, follow-up and bed charges, medical and association fees. How luxurious the hospital care is, how high the materials used are, how extensive the surgery for your nose is, and most importantly, that your doctor’s experience in this area can make a big difference to the fee you pay. Therefore, you must first be examined to get a clear fixed price.
Who can undergo a nose correction?
Anyone who has completed physical development (after the age of 17 and 18), is not suffering from any serious illness, and who has realistic expectations of nasal intervention, may be rhinoplasted. Smokers must stop smoking at least 10 days in advance and must not smoke for at least 15 days after surgery, as this will prevent adverse events.
How long does the nose correction surgery and the recovery process take?
Depending on the scope of the planned operation, the procedure takes between 1-2.5 hours and is performed under general anesthesia. If you come out of surgery, a plastic or metal mold will be on your nose (it could possibly be plaster) and cotton ball in your nose. Today, there are surgeons who prefer to use no wadding at all, but silicone shells that allow breathing. You can get up 2-3 hours after surgery and eat after 5-6 hours. After the rhinoplasty surgery in Izmir and an overnight stay in hospital you will be discharged. If your general condition is very good, you may even be fired on the same day. The waders in the nose are removed after 1-2 days and on the bridge of the nose located plastic or metal mold is removed after 5-7 days. After the preference of your doctor either the second form is made or not. So you can go back to work after a week or 10 days after surgery. Swelling and bruising may occur on your eyes and on your nose. In order to prevent this, some sculptures are given during and for the operation and ice treatments are also carried out in your room. The degree of swelling and bruising varies from person to person. To cover it with make-up, it takes about a week to 10 days for the regression. After the end of a month, the swelling decreases by 70-80%. However, a complete cure will not be seen until the end of the first year. In this year, the swelling of the nose will increase in the morning and then disappear during the day (usually no pain is felt)
What are the risks of a nose correction?
Of course, the risks of all surgical procedures also apply here. These include anesthesia-related problems, infections, premature bursting of the suture, numbness on the tip of the nose or nasal bridge, and poor scarring. In addition, later on, perforations of the nasal septum, discoloration of the nasal bridge and also undesirable deformations may form. It may happen that sometimes a second correction surgery will be required, but this can not be done before one year at the earliest. Prior to the operation, you will receive a declaration of consent that describes all the risks that you must read and then sign.
